Cyber Security Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Own the end-to-end security architecture, including reference architectures, security patterns, threat models, and guardrails, ensuring consistent application across desktop and cloud product lines.
• Drive cross-functional vulnerability management for desktop and cloud applications, covering triage, prioritization, remediation, and verification in collaboration with product teams, the CISO organization, and CERT.
• Integrate security deeply into automated development processes (SAST, DAST, SCA, Secret Scanning, IaC, and container scanning) within CI/CD pipelines, incorporating quality gates, ownership, and AI-driven workflows.
What You'll Need
• Several years of experience in Security Engineering or Security Architecture with a proven track record in developing and implementing security measures in complex product landscapes.
• A degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field with excellent academic performance.
• Deep expertise in application security, cloud security, and Secure SDLC, with practical experience embedding security tooling (SAST/DAST/SCA, IaC and container scanning, Secret Scans) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated effective use of AI in security workflows, preferably with agentic tools for code analysis, threat modeling, vulnerability triage, and detection engineering.
• Fluency in both German and English, strong problem-solving skills, innovation, proactivity, an entrepreneurial mindset, and alignment with the healthcare purpose and patient safety responsibility.
