Role Description The Video Editor Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting media and marketing initiatives through video content creation. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing video footage, assembling clips into cohesive narratives, and applying basic color correction to maintain visual consistency. The intern will collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to adapt content for social media, digital campaigns, and presentations, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Additional tasks may include creating simple motion graphics, assisting with asset organization, and contributing ideas to improve visual storytelling and audience engagement. This role offers exposure to real-world client projects and an opportunity to learn best practices in video production within a consulting and media environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and basic understanding of end-to-end video workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing, including assembling footage, trimming clips, and adding sound or music.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance and correct the visual look of content.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for simple titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow creative briefs and feedback.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in film, media, design, or a related field is an advantage, but not mandatory.
