Role Description The Fashion Designer role at Naukripay group is a full-time, on-site position based in Panipat. The Fashion Designer will conceptualize and develop clothing and accessory designs, create sketches and technical drawings, and select fabrics, trims, and embellishments aligned with brand and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with production teams, overseeing fittings, and refining designs based on feedback to ensure quality, comfort, and style. The role involves staying current with fashion trends, market preferences, and textile innovations, as well as coordinating with merchandisers and other stakeholders to meet timelines and collection goals. The Fashion Designer will also contribute to sample development, quality checks, and presentation of collections to internal teams or clients.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development, sketching, and collection planning.
Candidates should possess Textiles knowledge, including fabric properties, sourcing, and appropriate material selection for different designs.
Candidates should possess Embroidery skills, with the ability to design and integrate embellishments that enhance garment aesthetics.
Candidates should possess Fitting expertise, ensuring accurate measurements, pattern adjustments, and comfortable, well-structured garments.
Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Illustrator, CAD for fashion) and familiarity with production processes is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple design projects and deadlines effectively.
