Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in the Greater Jaipur Area. The Fashion Designer will develop original designs and collections aligned with brand requirements, market trends, and client preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include sketching concepts, selecting fabrics and trims, coordinating with textile and production teams, and ensuring proper fittings and garment construction. The role involves creating detailed technical specifications, collaborating with pattern makers and tailors, and overseeing samples from concept to final product. The Fashion Designer will also research fashion trends, support merchandising and styling efforts, and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills to conceptualize and develop cohesive collections.
Candidates should possess practical Embroidery and Textiles skills to work effectively with fabrics, embellishments, and surface design techniques.
Candidates should possess solid Fitting skills to ensure garments meet comfort, quality, and aesthetic standards.
Candidates should possess the ability to sketch, create technical drawings, and use basic design tools or software.
Candidates should possess a good understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and production processes.
Candidates should possess knowledge of current fashion trends, local and global markets, and consumer preferences.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams.
Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in apparel or fashion industry is an advantage.
