Role Description The Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of MMK’s enterprise-wide risk framework. This role involves identifying, assessing, and prioritizing key risks across market, operational, financial, strategic, and regulatory domains, and partnering with business leaders to develop effective mitigation strategies. The Vice President will lead risk reporting and analysis, prepare materials for senior leadership and board-level committees, and ensure that risk policies, limits, and controls are consistently applied. Day-to-day activities include conducting risk assessments, monitoring risk indicators, reviewing emerging risks, coordinating with internal stakeholders such as Finance and Compliance, and fostering a strong risk culture through guidance, training, and communication. The role also requires staying current with industry practices and regulatory expectations to align MMK’s risk management approach with best practices.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Enterprise Risk Management, including designing frameworks and leading organization-wide risk initiatives.
Hands-on experience with Market Risk and related financial risk identification, measurement, and monitoring.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, develop insights, and present clear recommendations.
Background in Finance, preferably with exposure to Financial Services or similar regulated environments.
Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional risk projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, CFA, CPA, CRM) is an advantage.
Familiarity with relevant risk, regulatory, and governance standards, and experience implementing best practices.
