Role Description The Vice President Finance is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all key financial activities, including planning, reporting, and analysis. This role leads the development and management of annual budgets, long-term financial forecasts, and capital allocation strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, analyzing variances, and preparing timely, accurate financial reports for senior leadership and stakeholders. The Vice President Finance will establish and maintain financial policies, internal controls, and compliance processes, while partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. This role also involves mentoring and guiding the finance team, implementing best practices, and leveraging financial insights to support informed decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, including experience leading corporate finance functions and supporting strategic decision-making.
Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting, including long-term forecasting and scenario analysis.
Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (e.g., Director, VP, or similar), preferably in a remote or distributed environment.
Knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance relevant to the organization’s operations.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA, CPA, or equivalent professional designation is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and lead teams through change and growth.
