Client is a marketing consulting and strategic insights firm looking for a Video Editor to help transform an existing internal research video into a compelling and engaging final deliverable for one of the client's largest pharmaceutical partners. This is a fully remote, expedited project with work expected over the next four days with the final deliverable due by end of day Monday (Eastern Time).
Video Editor responsibilities include:
- Review and evaluate an existing 10-minute+ video draft and improve overall pacing, storytelling, and engagement
- Edit and condense content into an approximately 5-minute final deliverable (longer is acceptable if it remains highly engaging)
- Enhance visuals through color correction, graphics, transitions, motion elements, and overall production value
- Improve interview segments featuring healthcare professionals to create a more compelling narrative
- Refine voice-over timing and presentation to ensure the video feels energetic, polished, and professional
- Incorporate existing project assets, Canva files, research findings, and supporting visual content ( All provided by the client)
- Highlight key insights, outcomes, and research results in a memorable and visually impactful way
- Collaborate with the client team throughout the process and implement feedback in a fast-paced environment
- Deliver a finalized video file by end of day Monday (Eastern Time) at the absolute latest
- Maintain confidentiality and execute an NDA prior to project kickoff
Experience & Skill Set:
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing corporate, healthcare, pharmaceutical, research, or internal communications video work
- Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar editing platforms
- Proven ability to take low-energy or rough-cut footage and transform it into an engaging, polished final product
- Experience incorporating graphics, text overlays, motion elements, voice-over, and visual storytelling techniques
- Ability to work independently and meet aggressive deadlines with minimal onboarding
- Comfortable collaborating remotely and incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders, great communication skills required
- Must have own laptop/workstation and editing software
- Experience working with confidential or proprietary client information preferred
Additional Details:
- Remote opportunity supporting an East Coast-based client team
- Project begins immediately (NDA required)
- Expected commitment over the next 4 days
- Client team will be available for questions, support, and rapid review cycles
- All files, source materials, and Canva assets will be provided upon kickoff
