Role Description The UIUX Designer Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting the design and improvement of digital products and experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with user research activities, such as gathering user insights and analyzing feedback, and contributing to wireframes, prototypes, and user flows based on product requirements. The intern will help translate business needs into clear, intuitive interfaces by applying design thinking principles and UX best practices. Additional tasks may involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, refining visual design elements, preparing design assets, and documenting design decisions. This role offers exposure to real-world client projects in consulting, technology, and media, with mentorship from experienced designers and strategists.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in User Experience (UX) and Design Thinking, with the ability to approach problems from a user-centered perspective.
Ability to conduct and support User Research, including gathering qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions.
Proficiency in Visual Design and Prototyping, using modern design tools to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
Basic understanding of digital product design processes and interest in working across consulting, technology, and media projects.
Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design software.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and accept constructive feedback.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or formal training in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, remote environment.
