Role Description: The Scrum Master role is a full-time, on-site position located abroad. The Scrum Master will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth and effective Agile delivery. This role involves coaching team members on Scrum practices, removing impediments, and coordinating with stakeholders to keep user stories, priorities, and timelines clear. The Scrum Master will collaborate closely with software development teams and product owners to improve processes, track progress, and support continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities include maintaining transparency through Agile artefacts, promoting a culture of accountability, and aligning team deliverables with business goals.
Qualifications
Ability to effectively lead Agile ceremonies and manage sprint planning and other Scrum events.
Strong analytical skills to interpret team metrics, identify bottlenecks, and support data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
Experience working with user stories, backlog refinement, and translating requirements into actionable work items.
Understanding of software development processes and familiarity with common development and DevOps practices.
Professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator in a technology or consulting environment.
Relevant certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Capability to work on-site in Bengaluru and collaborate in a diverse, inclusive team environment.
