Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the overall technology vision, aligning digital initiatives with business goals in the. This full-time, on-site role in Abroad involves overseeing software and product development, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring secure, scalable systems to support client services and internal operations. The CTO will collaborate with leadership to define technology roadmaps, drive innovation in customer-facing platforms, and optimize workflows through automation and data-driven solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing technical teams, supervising project delivery, setting architecture standards, and implementing best practices in cybersecurity and compliance. The CTO will also evaluate new tools and technologies, maintain vendor relationships, and continuously enhance technology capabilities to support growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Product Development, with experience building and scaling web-based platforms or service-oriented applications.
Candidates should possess proven Project Management skills, including planning, prioritizing, and delivering technology projects on time and within scope.
Candidates should possess expertise in IT Strategy and Architecture to design robust, secure, and scalable systems aligned with business objectives.
Experience leading cross-functional technology teams and mentoring technical staff.
Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and best practices for handling sensitive client information.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in professional services or consulting environments, preferably in immigration, legal, or similar regulated sectors, is an advantage.
