Senior Java Developer- BASED

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable and high-performance software solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, a solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems, and a strong focus on clean code, software quality, and maintainable architecture. You will work closely with other developers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and microservices.
Develop robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
Contribute to the design and evolution of microservices and distributed architectures.
Write clean, maintainable, testable, and high-quality code following established software engineering standards.
Analyse technical requirements and translate them into effective and scalable solutions.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to team members.
Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and stability.
Work closely with QA engineers to define and implement effective testing strategies.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and production environments.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data access and persistence.
Integrate applications with external APIs, messaging systems, and third-party services.
Participate in architectural and technical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.
Mentor less experienced developers and support the growth of the engineering team.
Stay up to date with modern Java ecosystem developments, frameworks, tools, and software engineering practices.
Leverage AI-powered coding assistants and development tools to improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance code quality.
RequirementsMust-Have Skills
5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Java 11+, with experience in modern Java features and best practices.
Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
Solid experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Good knowledge of software design principles and design patterns.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar.
Good understanding of SQL and database design.
Experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
Experience with automated testing, including JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern DevOps practices.
Good understanding of application security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good English communication skills.
