Senior .NET Developer- Romania

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our client's software development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and developing scalable applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core, with a solid understanding of modern software architecture and development practices.
You will work closely with software engineers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET.
Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
Design and implement solutions based on microservices and distributed systems.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following SOLID and clean code principles.
Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
Develop unit, integration, and automated tests.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimize queries and application performance.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of professional experience in .NET development.
Strong knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core.
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core.
Strong experience developing RESTful APIs.
Good understanding of microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Good understanding of SOLID principles and clean code practices.
Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
Experience with Entity Framework Core.
Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
Experience with unit and integration testing.
Good understanding of CI/CD practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good command of English.
Nice to Have
Experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
Experience with gRPC or WebSockets.
Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
Experience working in international and distributed Agile teams.
