We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong Angular experience and German language skills to join our client's development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, working closely with international teams and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, solid frontend experience with Angular, and the ability to communicate effectively in German and English.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop modern and responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
Participate in the design and implementation of software architecture and technical solutions.
Work with databases and optimize queries and application performance.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality.
Write unit and integration tests and contribute to automated testing practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Communicate with German-speaking stakeholders and development teams when required.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Java 11+.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar.
Good knowledge of Git and modern software development practices.
Experience with unit and integration testing.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and development pipelines.
Good knowledge of software design principles, clean code, and SOLID principles.
German language skills – B2/C1 or higher.
Good English communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
Experience working in international or distributed Agile teams.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
