Senior Java Developer with French-Romania

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong French language skills to join our client's international development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications while collaborating closely with French-speaking stakeholders and international technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following SOLID and clean code principles.
Perform code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards.
Develop unit, integration, and automated tests.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases and optimize application performance.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other development teams.
Communicate with French-speaking clients and stakeholders regarding technical requirements and project-related topics.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and technical solutions.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Java 11+.
Solid experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
Good understanding of software design patterns and SOLID principles.
Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server.
Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
Experience with unit and integration testing.
Good understanding of CI/CD practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
French language skills – B2/C1 or higher.
Good command of English.
Nice to Have
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
Experience with event-driven architectures.
Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
Experience working in international and distributed teams.
Previous experience working on projects with French-speaking clients.
