About the Internship
As an Event Marketing Intern, you'll do realistic event-marketing work inspired by real companies: planning mock webinars and conferences, drafting mock promotional campaigns, managing mock attendee journeys, and measuring mock event performance.
You'll learn how event teams drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline — event concepting, promotion, attendee experience, and post-event follow-up.
Responsibilities
* Research mock event formats, venues, and platforms for webinars, conferences, and meetups.
* Build mock event concept briefs with objectives, target audience, and themes.
* Draft mock event promotional campaigns across email, social media, and partner channels.
* Draft mock event landing-page copy with agendas, speaker bios, and registration CTAs.
* Plan mock pre-event promotion timelines with key milestones and deadlines.
* Draft mock speaker outreach emails and partnership invitations.
* Build mock attendee-registration workflows and mock confirmation sequences.
* Draft mock event run-of-show documents with sessions, timing, and speaker cues.
* Draft mock event engagement tactics — polls, Q&A prompts, and networking prompts.
* Plan mock post-event follow-up campaigns with thank-you emails and content offers.
* Draft mock event recap reports with attendance, engagement, and lead metrics.
* Track mock event KPIs and build mock performance dashboards.
* Draft mock lead-handoff reports for sales with qualified event-sourced leads.
* Plan mock hybrid-event logistics covering in-person and virtual attendee journeys.
* Build mock event-budget trackers with cost categories and ROI estimates.
* Use AI tools to draft event copy, summarize attendee feedback, and analyze results.
Requirements
* Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
* Strong organizational skills — you can juggle timelines, vendors, and details.
* Confident communicator who can coordinate with speakers and partners.
* Creative mindset for designing engaging event experiences.
* Reliable with deadlines and quick to adapt when plans change.
* Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms is a plus.
* Previous professional event-marketing experience is not required.
What You'll Gain
* A portfolio of event plans, promotional campaigns, and recap reports.
* Hands-on experience running mock events end to end.
* Practical skills in event promotion, attendee engagement, and logistics.
* Understanding of how events drive brand awareness and pipeline.
* Experience using AI for event copy, planning, and analysis.
* Personalized AI feedback on your work.
* Professional certificate upon successful completion.
* Mentorship and weekly learning sessions.
* Opportunity to strengthen your portfolio, resume, and interview readiness.
