Role Description The Data Management Intern role at PPStack is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting the design, maintenance, and improvement of data processes across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with data collection, validation, and cleansing activities to ensure accuracy and consistency of key datasets. The intern will help document data standards, support data governance initiatives, and collaborate with team members to manage master data records. This role also involves performing basic data analysis, preparing reports or dashboards, and contributing to efforts that improve data quality for learning platforms, analytics, and business decision-making. The intern will work closely with mentors and cross-functional teams to learn best practices in data management within an EdTech environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in data management concepts, including Data Management and Master Data Management.
Understanding of data governance principles, with exposure to Data Governance and related policies or standards.
Ability to assess and improve data accuracy and completeness, with skills in Data Quality.
Solid Analytical Skills, including basic data analysis, interpretation of trends, and problem-solving using data.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
Familiarity with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Interest in EdTech, AI-driven solutions, and using data to enhance learning experiences and career outcomes.
