Senior Internal Auditor

2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Internal Auditor plays a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and assessing risks across the organization''s products and operations. This position is responsible for planning and executing audits to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance obligations, contributing to the overall control environment and risk mitigation efforts.
3. Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying, analyzing, and assessing risk and contribute to the annual audit plan
Scope and plan multiple audits across products and operations
Conduct process walkthroughs and perform audit testing of internal controls
Assess compliance with applicable regulatory obligations
Document, report, and communicate audit findings
Collaborate with teams to develop action plans and track remediation efforts
Perform issue follow-up testing
Other duties as assigned
4. Requirements:
Experience scoping and planning complex audits
Ability to lead audit teams and mentor members
Proficiency in conducting walkthroughs and executing internal control tests
Experience in financial services auditing with knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and risk standards
Auditing experience in BSA/AML/Sanctions compliance, payments, and/or card products
Strong analytical skills to understand complex business processes
Ability to build cross-functional relationships to manage deliverables and issue tracking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capable of managing schedule to meet deadlines independently
Self-starter with a mindset for innovation and efficiency
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $132,400 - $165,500
US employees outside of those areas: $119,200 - $149,000
Canadian employees (any location): CAD 125,100 - 156,400
