About The Role
The Product Manager will own strategy, roadmap, and execution for a cloud-based developer platform that provides APIs, observability, deployment workflows, and infrastructure automation for engineering teams. The role translates customer and business needs into clear product requirements, measurable outcomes, and prioritized delivery plans.
Working across engineering, design, data, security, and go-to-market teams, the Product Manager will guide products from discovery through launch and iteration. Success requires technical fluency with REST and event-driven APIs, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, developer tooling, and the operational metrics that determine whether a platform is reliable and easy to adopt.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and quarterly priorities for platform capabilities spanning APIs, deployment workflows, observability, and developer experience
Translate customer interviews, usage data, support themes, and market analysis into detailed PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics
Partner with engineering leads to evaluate technical tradeoffs across Kubernetes, AWS or GCP services, API architecture, security, scalability, and platform reliability
Manage execution in Jira, Linear, or equivalent tools by breaking initiatives into milestones, resolving dependencies, and communicating delivery risks and decisions
Use product analytics, SQL, dashboards, and user feedback to measure adoption, activation, retention, latency, reliability, and workflow completion
Coordinate beta programs, documentation, release readiness, and go-to-market plans for new platform features and API versions
Establish product operating rhythms, including roadmap reviews, stakeholder updates, post-launch analysis, and structured prioritization using frameworks such as RICE or opportunity scoring
What We Are Looking For
3–8 years of product management experience, including ownership of technical products, developer tools, cloud platforms, APIs, or infrastructure software
Demonstrated ability to take products from ambiguous problem definition through requirements, engineering delivery, launch, and post-launch optimization
Strong technical fluency with REST APIs, event-driven systems, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and modern software development workflows
Experience collaborating directly with software engineers and interpreting architecture diagrams, API specifications, system constraints, and technical proposals
Working knowledge of product analytics and data tools, including SQL and platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, or Tableau
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; equivalent technical and product experience will also be considered
Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, developer portals, API monetization, enterprise security and compliance, or products serving platform engineering teams
