Role Description The Software Developer role is a full-time remote position focused on building, testing, and maintaining software applications that support EgoTECHworld’s products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing back-end components, writing clean and efficient code, debugging and resolving issues, and participating in code reviews. The developer will collaborate with other team members to refine requirements, improve system performance, and ensure software quality and security. This role also involves documenting technical solutions, contributing to best practices, and staying current with relevant technologies and frameworks.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, with the ability to write, test, and maintain high-quality code.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Practical knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and designing modular, reusable software components.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, modern development tools, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices is beneficial.
