Role Description The Information Technology Business System Analyst is a full-time remote role responsible for bridging business needs with technical solutions. Day-to-day tasks include gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into clear system specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to validate and refine functional needs. The role involves performing systems analysis, mapping current and future-state processes, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience. The analyst will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to support solution design, testing, implementation, and post-deployment review. Ongoing responsibilities also include monitoring system performance, supporting users with issue resolution, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Business Systems Analysis and Systems Analysis skills to evaluate existing solutions and define enhancements.
Candidates should possess solid Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to elicit, document, and prioritize stakeholder needs.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Experience working with cross-functional IT and business teams, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with SDLC, agile methodologies, and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms).
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in technology consulting, enterprise systems, or SaaS environments is advantageous.
