Role Description The Information Technology Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software and systems that support EgoTECHworld’s technology solutions and internal operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, managing and optimizing databases, integrating APIs and services, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement secure solutions, and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability. The developer will contribute to documentation, participate in code reviews, and stay current with emerging technologies and security best practices. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent communication and effective self-management in a distributed team environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology concepts, including systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Practical experience in Cybersecurity, with an understanding of secure coding practices and threat mitigation.
Hands-on Software Development skills, including design, implementation, and maintenance of applications.
Proficiency in Programming languages (such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript) and modern development frameworks.
Experience working with Databases, including SQL/NoSQL design, optimization, and data integrity.
Ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and deliver reliable, maintainable code.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development practices is beneficial.
