We are working with a leading technology solutions provider specializing in data management and analytics. They are known for delivering innovative data solutions that drive business transformation for their clients.
The Role
Lead the development of ETL and data ingestion processes for migrating data from Google Cloud Platform BigQuery to SQL-based data warehouse environments
Architect and implement robust data pipelines using modern ETL tools and cloud-native data processing frameworks
Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to a team of 4+ ETL developers, establishing best practices and consistent development patterns
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and validate data requirements, ensuring alignment with reporting and analytical needs
Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to guarantee data integrity, completeness, and accuracy throughout the migration process
Optimize data pipelines for scalability, performance, and maintainability, ensuring efficient data processing
Validate transactional and analytical data models to ensure they contain all necessary elements for downstream applications and Business Intelligence solutions
What You'll Need
Proven experience as a Technical Lead, successfully guiding teams of 4 or more developers
Strong expertise in designing, building, testing, and deploying data ingestion and migration pipelines
Proficiency in sourcing historical and real-time data from various disparate systems, including flat files and relational databases
Experience in transforming and standardizing incoming data into enterprise data models
Demonstrated ability to ensure efficient and accurate loading of data into data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical databases
Deep understanding of data quality, reliability, and performance expectations in ETL processes
