Systems Engineer

We are working with a premier technology integrator that provides full life cycle services and solutions in technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets. The Role
Provide technical leadership and hands-on development for commercial cloud solution architectures, focusing on security, scalability, and resiliency.
Plan, design, and manage the migration, re-platforming, integration, implementation, and operation of complex cloud environments.
Ensure commercial cloud service offerings adhere to DoD Cloud Computing policy and guidelines.
Provide detailed information for hardware/software selection, cloud service provider selection, and implementation techniques.
Maintain technical expertise in cloud computing and virtualization technologies, including various cloud deployment and service delivery models.
Participate in establishing strategic plans and objectives with senior management, making decisions on administrative or project work matters.
What You'll Need
Ten or more years of relevant experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance and IAT Level III certifications (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH).
Computing Environment (CE) certification for Cloud or virtualization (e.g., Azure, AWS), with a preference for Azure.
Proficient knowledge of Redhat Enterprise Linux, Terraform, Terraform state management, and Cloud Formation.
Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines using GitLab-CI and troubleshooting connectivity issues within DoD networking infrastructure.
Strong understanding of Docker & Podman, container networking, and AWS security capabilities (WAF, GuardDuty, Security Groups, IAM).
