FP&A Analyst

2. About the Opportunity:
The FP&A Analyst role is responsible for driving data-informed financial decisions across multiple business units. This position focuses on building financial models, supporting forecasting, and partnering with leadership to enhance performance understanding and decision-making. The role also supports strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions evaluation and post-close integration, contributing to financial planning and business growth.
3. Responsibilities:
Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasts, long-term planning, and ad hoc financial activities.
Build and maintain unit-level financial models for investments and operational evaluation.
Collaborate with business leaders to develop assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
Monitor performance to identify financial risks and opportunities.
Act as a finance partner to cross-functional leaders, translating financial results into actionable insights.
Challenge assumptions and support better decision-making through data analysis.
Present financial analyses clearly to financial and non-financial audiences.
Support strategic investment activities including deal modeling, due diligence, and integration tracking.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and assist in setting financial targets.
Prepare reporting packages, KPI dashboards, variance analysis, and executive presentations.
Analyze key financial metrics by unit and explain performance trends.
Build and improve complex Excel models and automate reporting.
Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accuracy during month-end close.
4. Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, public accounting, or similar analytical roles.
Prior experience with M&A and/or private equity including deal modeling and due diligence.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including complex models and scenario analysis.
Experience with AI modeling, SQL, and BI tools is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The salary for this role is $130,000 annually based on experience.
