Role Description The AI Intern role at PPStack is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and evaluation of AI-driven learning and career solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with data collection and preprocessing, building and testing machine learning models, and contributing to prototypes for AI-powered educational tools and analytics. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into platforms, document experiments, prepare reports, and help improve existing algorithms based on performance metrics and user feedback. Additional tasks may include supporting research in learning technologies, contributing to curriculum or content that leverages AI, and participating in internal discussions, stand-ups, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Qualifications
Foundation in Computer Science or related disciplines, with understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
Strong Analytical Skills, including problem-solving, quantitative reasoning, and the ability to interpret data and model performance.
Basic to intermediate experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, including data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
Hands-on Programming skills in languages commonly used in AI (such as Python), and familiarity with relevant libraries or frameworks.
Interest in EdTech, AI applications in education, and career-tech, with willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage time effectively, and collaborate using digital communication and project tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting work, presenting findings, and coordinating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required.
