Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Electrical Maintenance role based in the Greater Munich Metropolitan Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves maintaining and servicing electrical systems and components in POCT devices and related manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery, test rigs, and facility electrical infrastructure. The position also includes troubleshooting equipment issues, diagnosing root causes, implementing corrective actions, and documenting maintenance activities in line with quality and regulatory standards. The electrical maintenance professional will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support continuous improvement, minimize downtime, and optimize equipment performance.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for electrical and electromechanical systems.
Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, including routine inspections, servicing, and documentation.
Hands-on Maintenance skills for production and laboratory equipment, with attention to safety and compliance.
Proficient Troubleshooting abilities for electrical circuits, control systems, and instrumentation.
Vocational training or technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and safety regulations; experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
Basic familiarity with PLCs, sensors, and automation systems is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and effective communication in English; German language skills are a plus.
