Cloud Platform Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
Manage and enhance our Managed Kubernetes Service, focusing on reliability, security, and performance.
Develop and operate automated processes for provisioning, operation, and rollout of Kubernetes platforms and cloud-native services.
Collaborate with Managed Observability and Managed PostgreSQL teams, advising on cloud-native application deployments and supporting colleagues on Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
Plan and implement updates, security patches, and new product versions for the Managed Kubernetes Service.
Establish and maintain platform policies and security standards, driving technological advancement of the tool stack.
What You'll Need
Several years of practical experience operating and developing Kubernetes platforms (Managed or Self-Hosted).
Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, security, and scaling.
University degree (e.g., Computer Science or similar) with a strong technical focus.
Proficient in Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Crossplane, and ideally Kyverno.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps patterns, and container technologies like Docker.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
