Role Description As an Arduino Developer at Egotechworld, you will design, implement, and test Arduino-based applications and prototypes for various technology projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and optimizing embedded code, integrating sensors and hardware components, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with software and hardware teams to deliver reliable solutions. You will create clear technical documentation, contribute to project planning, and participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent communication, self-management, and the ability to work effectively with distributed team members.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and operating systems.
Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, ideally with experience in C/C++ for Arduino and familiarity with version control tools.
Experience in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, including APIs or microservices that interface with embedded systems.
Hands-on experience with Arduino boards, sensors, actuators, and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and basic electronics knowledge (voltage, current, circuits).
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to debug hardware and software issues.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with IoT platforms, cloud integration, or other microcontroller ecosystems (e.g., ESP32, Raspberry Pi) is a plus.
