Role Description The Junior Website Developer role is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and websites. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end features, assisting with back-end functionality, debugging and testing code, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly interfaces. The person in this role will collaborate with senior developers and designers, follow coding standards, and contribute to documentation to support ongoing projects. The Junior Website Developer will also help optimize website performance, update existing features based on feedback, and stay informed about new web technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
Ability to work with web development fundamentals, including Web Development and Programming skills.
Foundational experience in Front-End Development and Web Design to build responsive, accessible user interfaces.
Basic knowledge of Back-End Web Development to support server-side logic and integration with databases or APIs.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with modern frameworks or libraries is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow coding standards and best practices.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
Relevant coursework, certifications, or a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and technologies, and accept feedback to improve technical skills.
