Role Description The Website Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for building, maintaining, and improving web applications and sites for EgoTECHworld and its clients. Day-to-day tasks include developing responsive front-end interfaces, implementing back-end logic, integrating APIs, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization. The role involves collaborating with designers, content contributors, and other developers to translate requirements into functional, user-friendly web experiences. The Website Developer will also troubleshoot issues, perform regular updates, maintain code quality and documentation, and help implement best practices for security and scalability. This position requires proactive communication in a remote setting and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality web solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development and Web Design skills to create responsive, accessible, and visually consistent user interfaces.
Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development and Programming skills to build robust application logic, integrate data sources, and maintain secure server-side functionality.
Candidates should possess comprehensive Web Development skills to manage full website lifecycles, from planning and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant libraries or frameworks) is beneficial.
Familiarity with version control tools (such as Git) and collaborative development workflows is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines is important.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication are desired.
