Role Description The Software Engineer Intern role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the development and maintenance of software applications and back-end web services. Interns will assist in writing clean, efficient code, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and performing basic testing to ensure reliability and performance. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with senior engineers, participating in code reviews, documenting technical work, and learning best practices in software design and architecture. The intern will also help integrate APIs, work with databases, and contribute to continuous improvement of internal tools and workflows.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Basic experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development (e.g., APIs, databases, server-side frameworks).
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply feedback constructively.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
Comfort working remotely, managing time effectively, and collaborating in distributed teams.
Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and basic software development workflows is a plus.
