Role Description The User Experience Designer is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping intuitive, engaging digital experiences across TalesByDora’s platforms. Day-to-day tasks include conducting user research, defining user journeys, and applying design thinking to solve complex travel experience challenges. The role involves creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with brand guidelines and support key business goals. The designer will collaborate closely with product, engineering, content, and marketing teams to translate user insights into usable, accessible interfaces. Ongoing responsibilities include iterating on designs based on feedback and usability testing, maintaining design systems, and ensuring a consistent experience for travelers exploring TBD’s services.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) to frame problems, define user flows, and create user-centered solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in User Research to plan and conduct interviews, surveys, usability tests, and analyze findings for actionable insights.
Candidates should possess skills in Visual Design to create clear, appealing interfaces that follow branding, typography, and layout best practices.
Candidates should possess skills in Prototyping to build interactive mockups and validate concepts with stakeholders and users.
Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar) and familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design.
Understanding of accessibility standards and usability principles, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional remote teams.
Relevant experience in product design or UX design for consumer-facing digital products; travel or hospitality domain experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
