Role Description The Social Media Manager (Fresher) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghaziabad. The person in this role will manage and grow TalesByDora’s presence across social media platforms by creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content aligned with the brand’s travel focus. Daily tasks include drafting posts, creating basic visuals or coordinating with designers, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring trends to generate relevant travel-related content ideas. The role also involves supporting campaign planning, tracking performance metrics, and preparing simple reports on follower growth and engagement. Collaboration with the travel and marketing teams is expected to ensure consistency in messaging and to support ongoing promotions, tours, and special offers.
Qualifications
Foundational social media skills, including familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, and an understanding of basic content formats (posts, stories, reels, shorts).
Basic content creation abilities, such as writing clear and engaging captions in en_US, simple photo/video editing, and an eye for visual aesthetics aligned with a travel brand.
Interest in digital marketing concepts, including audience engagement, hashtag use, and basic analytics (reach, impressions, engagement rate).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback, coordinate with team members, and interact professionally with online audiences.
Demonstrated passion for travel and storytelling, with creativity in generating ideas for posts, campaigns, and travel-themed series.
Organizational skills to manage content calendars, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant academic background in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; internships or personal social media projects are a plus.
Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and trends, and grow within a travel-focused brand.
