Role Description As a Cloud Engineer at Future of Nation, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure that supports our learning platform and internal applications. You will work in a full-time hybrid capacity, with primary location in Bengaluru and flexibility for partial work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing cloud architectures, managing deployments, monitoring system performance, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of services. You will collaborate with software developers and product teams to automate workflows, integrate applications with cloud services, and improve CI/CD pipelines. The role also involves troubleshooting infrastructure issues, maintaining documentation, and contributing to best practices for cost management and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, with experience designing and managing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in Linux and related system administration tasks, including scripting and automation.
Hands-on experience with Databases, encompassing configuration, performance tuning, backups, and integration with applications.
Software Development skills for building tools, automation scripts, and integrating services (e.g., Python, Java, or similar languages).
Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment and communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Experience in education technology or mentoring platforms is a plus.
