Role Description As a JavaScript Developer at Future of Nation, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications that support our learning platform and student experiences. In this full-time hybrid role based in New Delhi, you will build front-end interfaces, implement back-end logic, and collaborate with product, design, and academic teams to translate educational requirements into scalable technical solutions. Typical responsibilities include writing clean, modular JavaScript code, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, debugging and resolving issues, and ensuring responsive, accessible user experiences. You will participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and help continuously improve development practices while occasionally working from home as part of the hybrid arrangement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including JavaScript and Redux.js.
Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, with experience in APIs and server-side integration.
Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including version control, testing, and debugging.
Candidates should possess an understanding of modern web architectures and performance optimization.
Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Additional beneficial skills include experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React or Vue), Node.js, relational or NoSQL databases, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Strong problem-solving ability, clear written and verbal communication, and a collaborative mindset are important for success in this role.
Interest in education technology and a commitment to empowering students with modern skills will be considered a strong advantage.
