Role Description The Cloud Support Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the engineer will provide technical support for cloud-based services, troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, applications, and connectivity, and ensure high availability and performance of hosted solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring systems, responding to support tickets, diagnosing incidents, implementing fixes, and performing routine maintenance tasks. The engineer will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to manage deployments, optimize configurations, and maintain secure network environments. The role also involves creating documentation, updating knowledge bases, and helping improve support processes to deliver reliable and timely assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for cloud environments and related infrastructure.
Candidates should possess System Administration skills, including experience with operating systems, user management, and configuration management.
Candidates should possess Networking skills, including understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and load balancing in cloud and hybrid setups.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including basic firewall management, access control, and security best practices for cloud platforms.
Experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitoring tools is highly beneficial.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, user-friendly language.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment, manage priorities, and support educators and learners using the platform.
