Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Search Engine Optimization Specialist role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. The specialist will manage day-to-day SEO operations, including conducting keyword research, performing technical and content SEO audits, and optimizing on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, internal links, and content structure. The role involves monitoring site performance using web analytics tools, preparing regular SEO reports, and identifying opportunities to improve organic traffic, engagement, and conversions. The specialist will plan and execute ethical link-building strategies, collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO with campaign goals, and stay updated on search engine guidelines and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Ability to perform comprehensive keyword research and map keywords to landing pages and content.
Experience conducting SEO audits, identifying technical and content issues, and recommending actionable fixes.
Skills in planning and executing ethical link building and outreach to improve domain authority.
Proficiency in web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) for monitoring and reporting.
Strong on-page SEO capabilities, including optimizing titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
Good understanding of technical SEO fundamentals (site speed, mobile friendliness, crawlability, indexation).
Solid written communication skills and ability to collaborate with content, product, and marketing teams.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent experience).
Prior experience in EdTech or mission-driven organizations is an advantage.
