About The Role
Sawdey Solution Services is seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing technical development and implementation support across Civil Engineering and mission support processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying workflow automation solutions utilizing the Power Platform, as well as supporting data management initiatives and application strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in application development, database management, and process automation, with a proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering innovative solutions. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with the option for telecommuting from Washington, DC, and is integral to supporting critical government projects.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in application development and database management, demonstrating proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems. Additionally, at least 5 years of hands-on experience in automation and dashboard development is required. Candidates must possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced and competitive environments. A bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or a related IT field is mandatory. Certifications such as CompTIA or equivalent IT certifications and PMP certification are highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, is essential. Candidates must also hold a Public Trust security clearance and be U.S. citizens, as this position supports a government contract with specific citizenship requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and enhancement of technical design approaches, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards.
Document functional specifications, including governance structures, permission groups, workflows, and coding standards.
Maintain and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
Provide training and develop instructional content to facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.
Recommend and implement innovative process updates by integrating disparate systems and workflows where applicable.
Support the automation of processes through Power Platform, developing workflows, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and technological advancement.
Perform quality assurance, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and performance of developed solutions.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices, applying them to enhance project outcomes.
Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the overall mission and objectives of the organization.
