Tachyra Diagnostics | Delray Beach, FL (remote considered)
Tachyra Diagnostics is an AI-powered clinical decision support platform for physicians, currently building its founding leadership team ahead of a Series A raise.
We're looking for a VP of Investor & Corporate Communications to own the company's public and investor-facing narrative as we scale.
What you'll own:
The investor narrative supporting fundraising — pitch materials, data room communications, and messaging alignment with the executive team and board
Media relations and press strategy — positioning Tachyra in health-tech, AI, and digital-health coverage
Corporate communications: company milestones, executive announcements, and brand narrative
Coordinating with the CEO, CFO, and legal/compliance on any public claims about the platform's capabilities, ensuring nothing overstates FDA status or clinical claims
Building relationships with health-tech and business media, and supporting investor roadshow logistics
Compensation structure — please read before applying:
Tachyra is a pre-Series A startup. Founding executive compensation is structured in two tiers: a base salary that begins at the earlier of Board approval or the closing of our Series A round, and a deferred (half-salary) rate that begins earlier — triggered at $6,000,000 in aggregate financing or Board approval, whichever comes first — and is paid retroactively once triggered. Equity is granted as a standard part of compensation (four-year vesting, one-year cliff). This is a real, contingent-on-milestones structure, not a guaranteed salary from day one — we want candidates to weigh that honestly before applying.
What you bring:
Experience in startup or venture-backed communications, ideally healthtech, fintech, or another regulated-industry tech sector
A track record supporting fundraising rounds — investor materials, press around raises, founder narrative
Strong media relationships in tech/business press
Comfort operating in a pre-revenue, fast-moving environment with a small team
