Software Architect

2. About the Opportunity:
The Software Architect role is responsible for shaping technology decisions and system architectures to meet client business needs effectively. This position serves as a technical advisor, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions and building trust with stakeholders. The role contributes by leading project delivery in technical design, mentoring engineering teams, and advancing the use of AI tools to improve development practices.
3. Responsibilities:
Drive structured and confident work progress across delivery teams and client stakeholders.
Translate client business needs into clear technical requirements and solutions.
Analyze and improve existing system architectures, development, and deployment processes.
Design technical systems considering functionality, budget, and schedule constraints.
Identify risks and opportunities in ambiguous situations and design preemptive solutions.
Close knowledge gaps in unfamiliar technical domains as needed.
Oversee implementation, mentoring development staff throughout projects.
Manage system deployment and ensure maintenance and support capabilities.
Provide high-level estimates for project planning.
Prepare technical documentation.
Ensure adherence to designed architecture and maintain code quality.
Manage AI agent tools, including configuration, standards, and mentoring team members.
Optimize AI agent economics at the architectural level.
Support project proposals and RFP response activities with technical input.
Contribute to improving internal technical tools and software development practices.
Lead and mentor junior engineering team members.
4. Requirements:
Meets all qualifications for a Senior Developer.
Minimum 6 years of industry experience with increasing responsibility.
Ability to design system architectures and assess technology fit across various concerns.
Knowledge of architectural patterns and multiple programming paradigms.
Proficient in debugging, troubleshooting, and analyzing requirements.
Strong communication skills to translate complex technical ideas for various audiences.
Experience bridging technical and business discussions.
Demonstrated experience with large language models, AI coding agents, and prompt engineering.
Awareness of security and compliance in system design.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
