Technology Analyst, ServiceNow Developer

It addresses challenges related to managing IT hardware and software assets by leveraging the ServiceNow platform to optimize asset lifecycle tracking, compliance, and cost management at scale.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Technology Analyst, ServiceNow Developer will play a critical technical role in developing and implementing ServiceNow IT Asset Management capabilities. This position works closely with senior leadership, platform architects, administrators, and business stakeholders to design and deliver solutions that improve asset management processes and align with organizational goals.
3. Responsibilities:
Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance ServiceNow solutions for IT Asset Management needs
Lead collaboration with architects and analysts to translate requirements into ServiceNow configurations
Configure ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules
Develop workflows, business rules, service catalogs, and flows using ServiceNow tools
Support innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance team efficiency
Ensure compliance and optimize cost through effective asset lifecycle tracking
4. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – IT Asset Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, ITOM, and/or ITSM
At least 2 years experience in requirements gathering, systems administration, or configuration management
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM modules, CMDB, and ITIL processes
Experience designing and optimizing SAM, HAM, and CMDB structures
Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular.js, Perl, and Powershell
Experience with ServiceNow integrations using web services and related technologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Certified ServiceNow Administrator or ability to obtain within 90 days
Knowledge of ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and API development
Ability to work independently and lead small to medium initiatives
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and managed service environments
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
