2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst role is focused on leading the onboarding and integration of logs from newly acquired entities into a centralized security platform. This position ensures security visibility and compliance through data ingestion architecture, log normalization, and collaboration with acquisition and security teams. The role supports security operations by enhancing detection capabilities and developing scalable frameworks for efficient log management.
3. Responsibilities:
Lead onboarding of logs from newly acquired entities into Splunk
Identify and prioritize log sources
Design data ingestion architectures
Extract, parse, and normalize log fields
Collaborate with acquisition, IT, and security teams to ensure visibility
Develop repeatable onboarding playbooks and integration frameworks
Align processes with enterprise security use cases and compliance requirements
Implement and maintain secure log pipelines across cloud, on-premises, and SaaS environments
Ensure high availability and resilience of Splunk services
Oversee data quality, integrity, and retention policies
Support SOC operations through search enablement, dashboards, alerts, and detection content
Use enterprise-approved AI tools to automate workflows and improve efficiency
4. Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years experience in technology focusing on network security, threat detection, or security operations
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment
Pay determined by factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications
