2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Network Engineer Infoblox is responsible for managing and optimizing the enterprise DDI platform, including DNS, DHCP, and IP address management systems. This role ensures critical network services remain available and reliable across the organization. It serves as the senior technical expert for resolving complex issues and leading improvements within the Infoblox ecosystem, contributing to the overall stability and performance of the network infrastructure.
3. Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize the enterprise DDI platform to maintain service availability and performance.
Serve as senior technical expert for complex DNS and IPAM issues, conducting root-cause analysis and resolving high-impact incidents.
Lead upgrades, migrations, service improvements, and integration efforts within the Infoblox environment.
Support and elevate the capabilities of the broader engineering team through operational excellence initiatives.
4. Requirements:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of experience, or Associate/Bachelor''s degree with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of relevant job experience.
Preferred 2 years of leadership or management experience.
8 to 10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
Proven experience managing enterprise-scale DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments.
Expert-level hands-on experience with Infoblox (NIOS, Grid architecture, DDI services).
Strong knowledge of DNS (authoritative, recursive, zone management, DNSSEC fundamentals).
Expertise in DHCP operations and IP address lifecycle management.
Solid understanding of core networking concepts including routing, switching, and TCP/IP.
Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability environments.
Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer service issues.
Infoblox Certified Professional certification(s).
Additional certifications preferred: Cisco CCNP or equivalent, and DNS or network-related certifications.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range: $116,413 - $162,273 per year.
