2. About the Opportunity:
The Staff, Data Product Manager leads the strategy and lifecycle management of data products and platforms. This role is essential for unlocking the value of data across the organization by defining data solution roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data products are accessible, reliable, and aligned with business goals. The position transforms raw data into actionable assets that drive decision-making, automation, and personalization to support business growth.
3. Responsibilities:
Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products supporting insights and data-driven actions.
Bridge data engineers, scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions.
Develop product requirements focused on data access, usability, performance, and quality.
Prioritize data initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and availability.
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
Provide self-service access to go-to-market data through platforms and tools.
Monitor and improve data quality, reliability, and tool adoption.
Define and track success metrics to meet business and technical objectives.
Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making by enhancing product accessibility.
Collaborate with finance, product, and sales teams to meet internal data needs.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data product management.
Create training materials to improve data usage across teams.
Lead initiatives to increase data literacy and accessibility.
Identify innovation opportunities to enhance data utilization and customer experience.
4. Requirements:
Minimum 8 years in product management, engineering, or analytics focused on data products or infrastructure.
Experience supporting go-to-market or sales analytics in a SaaS environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of data platforms, pipelines, and BI tools such as AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Tableau.
Proficient in SQL and familiar with data modeling concepts.
Experience collaborating with data engineering, analytics, and science teams.
Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and security standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Familiarity with agile product development and strong project management abilities.
Analytical skills to convert data insights into actionable strategies.
Desired:
Experience with GTM technology stacks like Salesforce or Gong.
Experience with AI products such as Claude, Cortex, Glean, Gemini.
Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Airtable.
Knowledge of MNPI compliance and related data privacy regulations.
Advanced degree in related fields is a plus.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
