1. About Our Client:
The organization is a data, media, and technology consultancy that partners with leading platforms such as Google and Adobe. It supports over 800 clients by focusing on maximizing return on investment from digital marketing efforts. The company operates across multiple states and countries with a distributed team, addressing challenges in digital analytics and marketing to enable client growth.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Technical Lead 1, Analytics is responsible for serving as a technical subject matter expert within the Analytics Services team. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive enterprise tracking solutions for clients, ensuring data collection accuracy and scalability across digital platforms. The position plays a critical role in guiding technical execution and mentoring team members to deliver effective analytics strategies.
3. Responsibilities:
Design and implement end-to-end analytics tracking solutions for web, mobile, and single-page applications using Tealium and other tag management systems.
Develop and standardize data layers and solution design references across complex digital properties.
Configure tracking components within tag management systems to support analytics, data privacy, and marketing needs.
Collaborate with client engineering and development teams to translate tracking requirements into technical specifications.
Test and validate tracking implementations to ensure data accuracy and compliance prior to deployment.
Provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles from presales to delivery.
Mentor junior team members on analytics engineering, JavaScript, mobile app tracking, and privacy management.
Produce comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to internal tracking standards.
Support creation of technical content such as blogs and webinars to enhance the organization''s presence in analytics technologies.
4. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Digital Analytics, Analytics Engineering, or AdTech.
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience implementing enterprise analytics solutions with deep expertise in Tealium (iQ/EventStream).
Experience with other enterprise analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics/Launch, Segment, or Amplitude.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for web/mobile analytics deployment and DOM manipulation.
Proven ability to design scalable data layers and translate business requirements into technical designs.
Understanding of mobile app tracking (iOS/Android SDKs) and single-page application behaviors.
Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Base salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 per year, with variation based on experience and training.
