We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
• Write high-quality distributed system software for a global network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth roll-out of new designs and products.
• Utilize data to measure success and take responsibility for service quality, preventing faults from impacting customers.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system fault tolerance and rapid issue resolution.
• Contribute to documentation of processes and procedures, and mentor junior engineers.
What You'll Need
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using languages like C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Design.
• A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
