Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst

2. About the Opportunity:
The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst plays a crucial role within the Revenue Cycle Management team by leading systems updates and configuration projects. This position leverages data modeling to enhance decision-making and optimize revenue cycle processes. The role contributes to improving system performance and supports strategic business solutions, requiring a combination of technical expertise and business insight.
3. Responsibilities:
Develop Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) applications and solutions by analyzing data and workflows.
Participate in information systems projects supporting Electronic Health Records (EHR), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and other business systems.
Support cross-functional teams during system implementations and renewals.
Configure and customize practice management platforms.
Analyze workflows to recommend and implement IT solutions for efficiency.
Resolve technical issues affecting RCM systems.
Provide support for escalations and complex configuration requests.
Assist users and department system owners with application support.
Lead training, process development, and quality assurance within the configuration team.
Collaborate with the Principal Analyst on software maintenance and enhancements.
Engage in planning, design, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and ongoing support.
Serve on teams for new system deployments or enhancements.
Partner with EMR Specialists and Business Intelligence teams to maintain reporting and analytics infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.
Support financial and billing audits and data requests.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
4. Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in information systems, health information management, healthcare-related field, or related area; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, systems configuration, analysis, and implementation within health systems.
Preference for experience in Behavioral Health/Addiction Treatment RCM.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and tools like Power BI, AI, and clearinghouse software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and payer guidelines.
Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Compensation: $28-30 per hour.
