The organization specializes in locum tenens healthcare staffing, focusing on placing skilled nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians in underserved rural and remote communities across Alaska and the Northwestern United States. It addresses the challenge of providing access to quality healthcare services in regions with limited medical resources, bridging the gap between healthcare professionals and communities in need.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified medical providers for locum assignments. This role ensures a continuous pipeline of high-quality candidates and supports their placement in meaningful opportunities. The position plays a critical role in maintaining the provider network and contributing to the organization’s mission of improving rural healthcare access.
3. Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a network of qualified medical providers
Source new candidates using various channels
Review resumes to assess fit based on experience, skills, and interests
Onboard providers according to organizational standards
Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider records
Enhance the provider experience through effective communication and relationship building
Collaborate with staffing and other departments to place providers
Contribute to recruiting department strategic planning
4. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in locum staffing
Healthcare experience preferred
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
Proven success in previous recruiting roles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS/CRM software
Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Pay range: $70,000 to $80,000 annually, dependent on experience
Additional quarterly profit-sharing compensation
