Cyber Security Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Implement the identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) layer for a critical automation platform.
• Integrate the platform with government-provided ICAM services using modern protocols like OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Develop and maintain identity federation and user stores, including role-based provisioning.
• Enforce per-session authentication and authorization for all user and service interactions.
• Implement mutual TLS (mTLS), service mesh identity, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Design and implement role-based (RBAC) and attribute-based (ABAC) access controls.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with enterprise identity providers and federation solutions (e.g., Keycloak, Okta).
• Experience implementing RBAC and/or ABAC within distributed applications.
• Working knowledge of PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and mutual TLS (mTLS).
• Understanding of Zero Trust principles and experience implementing audit logging.
