About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Specialist to join our dynamic analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data sets into clear, compelling visual insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders across departments, including finance, marketing, and operations, to understand their data needs and deliver visualizations that are both insightful and user-friendly. Your expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, combined with your analytical acumen, will be crucial in supporting our clients’ business objectives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Sciences, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
Experience of 4 to 7 years in data visualization and analytics, preferably within the banking domain.
Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, including SSRS.
Hands-on experience working with large datasets using Hadoop, SQL, and other data management technologies.
Strong portfolio demonstrating past visualization projects and analytics work.
Solid understanding of database design, data models, data mining techniques, and segmentation strategies.
Experience working in agile environments, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data insights into understandable visual formats for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements, propose system modifications, and develop governance strategies.
Creative thinking with a focus on user experience and journey mapping.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Continuous learner, keeping abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and analytics.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports that effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and translate requirements into visual solutions.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data visualizations, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within data visualization workflows.
Work closely with data engineers and database administrators to optimize data extraction and transformation processes.
Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, fostering data-driven decision-making.
Maintain and enhance existing dashboards, ensuring they remain relevant and up-to-date with evolving business needs.
Participate in agile project cycles, providing technical expertise and contributing to sprint planning and reviews.
Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in data visualization, recommending new tools and methodologies as appropriate.
